William J. Curry, MBA, CPA

Bill is Vice President, Corporate Controller & Principal Accounting Officer at Waters Corporation. Bill has over 30 years experience in public accounting, SEC financial reporting, accounting policy formulation and implementation, and has held various senior global operational finance positions. Bill is responsible for global accounting policies, procedures, systems, internal and external reporting and all SEC compliance.

Areas of note include revenue recognition (SAB 104), derivatives, Sarbanes Oxley, XBRL, business combinations, restructurings, etc. Recently, he has been advising and training the Asian finance organizations on various projects associated with IFRS and statutory compliance. Prior to joining Waters in 1999, Bill was an auditor with the PwC Boston office. He also held senior corporate, operational and international positions with Ciba-Corning Diagnostics, Inc. (now Siemens Diagnostics). Bill has a BS in Accounting from Bentley College and a MBA from Babson College.
